Citric Acid, Ethanol ( stabilizer for hydrosol).

Water - Used to enhance the feel of the milk and provide a light feel. Rose Hydrosol - Balances the PH of your skin and hydrate dull, tired skin types.The perfect ingredient for a mature skin, due to it’s healing, restorative nature. Fantastic toner! Organic Glycerin - added to help preserve yet serves as hydration, binding moisture to the skin, to make it smoother and softer. Organic Sunflower seed oil - due to it's similarity to human sebum it offers good absorption and barrier forming properties, a natural source of antioxidants, as well as being an effective natural moisturiser high in vitamins A, B, D & E, minerals deeply nourishing and conditioning for the skin. Organic Witch Hazel Extract - Great toner/tightener and skin balancer with fantastic soothing properties. Decyl Glucoside - helps this formulation foam up and is extremely gentle, this will leave your skin feeling soft and as a bonus is obtained from natural renewable sources! This is ecocert approved and suitable for use in certified organic skincare products. Frankincense essential oil – Astringent, to tone and lift skin so great on those wrinkles and red areas it creates clear, even-toned, more youthful looking skin Lavender essential oil - Antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti inflammatory so its great for troubled skin and still very gentle. Xantham gum - a natural thickener for a more manageable texture Benzyl alcohol & dehydroacetic acid - (geogard 221).Dehydroacetic acid is an organic acid found in the flowers of the solandra species.  Benzyl alcohol is a constituent found in many pure essential oils, fruits and teas. Together they form an effective preservative that is ECOCERT approved and is recognised as a safe preservation method that supports a natural and organic philosophy. Due the  content of water in this formulation it is important to be able to prohibit any nasties growing in the milk so I have researched and chosen this as a preservative as it is permitted by Ecocert as a synthetic preservative in ecological and organic certified cosmetics. Citric Acid - A natural way of controlling the PH level of the formulation so it is safe for your skin  Ethanol this is used in the hydrosol to stabilise and preserve it.
